Blueberry Quilt Raffle
The annual Blueberry Festival quilt is designed, hand-embroidered, and hand-quilted by a group of community women. The quilters work on this eagerly anticipated treasure weekly, for several months.
Raffle tickets
Each year's quilt features a different blueberry pattern. At left is a close-up view of a section of the 2006 quilt.
Raffle tickets are $1 each. The winning ticket will be drawn Sunday afternoon, August 19, 2012. You don't need to be present to win.
The completed 2012 Blueberry Festival quilt will be on display at Machias Savings Bank before the festival. Tickets are available from the church during the week.
You can buy quilt tickets by mail. Download and print tickets (a form is on our Documents page), fill them out, and mail them along with a check for the number you want to purchase.
