Festival Community Worship Service
at Centre Street Congregational Church
No matter who you are or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome here.
All are invited to celebrate the Blueberry Festival and give thanks for the blueberry harvest at 9:30 a.m., Sunday, August 21, 2011.
Our Chancel Choir will sing "Creation of Peace," an anthem whose lyrics are based on the words of Barbara Hope of Jonesport, Maine. Barbara spoke at a peace conference at the Riverside Church in New York 33 years ago; her words were made into a song, and now Mark A. Miller has expanded it into this anthem.
- 9:25 Ringing the Paul Revere Bell
- Chancel Choir and Bell Choir
- Community Prayers:
We give thanks for the blueberry harvest and daily blessings.
Dress casually. Wear your Blueberry Festival T-shirt from years past or this year's original T-shirt!
