You are invited to the SECOND ANNUAL BLACKFLY BALL!
A dress-up dance party for all!
During Machias' Wild Blueberry Festival on AUGUST 18th.
This event, to be held in the Beehive Collective's newly restored Grange Hall, will feature over 30 musicians in three bands - you won't be able to stop yourself from dancing! Swing to the energetic sounds of the Orange River Valley Jazz Band, a 6 piece ensemble homegrown in Washington County. Dance, stomp and twirl to the uproarious tunes of the Rude Mechanical Orchestra , a 15 piece marching band from New York City! And let us not forget the unique sounds of U Maine Machias' own Ukulele Club! It will be a toe-tapping evening you will never forget, so mosey on down to the Machias Valley Grange Hall on the waterfall in downtown Machias to join in on the fun.
This event is free and open to all folks of all ages, but please, no drugs or alcohol. Please let us know if you would like to stay overnight, you're welcome to join in the weekend's camping at the hive house. Hope to see you there!
